# 意味

1. 神仏に仕えるため、飲食や行動をつつしみ、心身を清めること。
2. 神に仕えること。心身を清めて神聖な存在に奉仕する心構えや状態。
3. 特定の目的のために使われる部屋。特に、書を読むための部屋（書斎）や、神事を行うための清められた部屋を指す。
4. 雅号や号などに付ける語。
5. 仏教や神事に関連する食事。特に、精進料理など、肉食を避けた慎み深い食事を指すこともある。
