# 意味

1. 【もうける、しつらえる、つくる、そなえる、置く】
「設」は物や仕組みを整える、または用意することを指します。特に、設備や環境を整えることに関連して使われます。
例：
- 設備（せつび）：特定の目的のために設けた器具や装置。例えば、体育館には多様な体育設備が設置されています。
- 設計（せっけい）：物事の計画を立てること。建物の設計をするときには、最新の技術を考慮します。
- 設置（せっち）：物を所定の場所に設けること。新しいコンピュータをオフィスに設置しました。

2. 【もし、たとい、仮に】
「設」は仮定や条件を示す際にも用いられます。主に文語表現や詩的表現で見られます。
例：
- 設（もし）あなたが明日来るなら、歓迎します。
- 人生は設（たとい）困難があっても、前に進むべきです。
- 設（仮に）この計画が成功したら、大きな変化が訪れるでしょう。
