# Summary

> Following the death of Horus and the placing of the Emperor upon the Golden Throne, the Imperium of Man is shattered and the Traitor Legions flee from Terra. The Primarch sons of the Emperor are left to pick up the pieces and argue what to do next. Roboute Guilliman, Primarch of the XIII Legion, and his allies believe the Imperium should consolidate its resources and rebuild itself. While Rogal Dorn, Primarch of the VII Legion, and his forces want to go on a crusade to destroy the remains of the Traitor forces while they are weakened. Ultimately, both occur. Some Primarchs remain on Terra while other loyal Primarchs go out to reconquer [Luna](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon "Moon")and siege the Dark Mechanicum on [Mars](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mars "Mars").
